Double C, Christmas and Church

So, Christmas as most people should know is the birth of Jesus and the whole giving gift things was mad up by some American, or was it a British person……someone who wanted gifts. Christians go to church but this is the first year I can remember where we’ve gone to church on Christmas. Usually when someone in the age range of 4-19 hears “Church” there’s one universal meaning. In my own words it’s two hours of my life, deteriorated into nothingness. I don’t like church. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just boring.

 

School is more fun than church. I mean, in school they don’t make you:

• stand up and sing
• nearly starve to death
• listen to one man talk, well, more yell for two hours
• or give away a dollar.

Now, i know what some of you are thinking, wow, she’s such a jerk BUT, I have reasons for not liking these things.

First of all, I find it harder to breath when I stand up for a while. I, as most other people of the world, hate being hungry, and, the things the preacher says go in one ear and out the other. At school, you get to participate and you actually NEED to know the things teachers tell you. It’s good to know about your own religion but truth be told, if you know the basic ten commandments and how to be saved, there’s not really a punishment for not knowing the rest. God is forgiving to those types of things.

 

I did have a time when I liked church. The church did a cute little play, that was 9000 times more interesting than hearing the preacher. Church isn’t fun for me but, it’s not like I have much an option so, let me go pick out a dress.

 

Pinky Black has pissed me off

Go on facebook and look up Pinky Black. This girl has pissed me the hell off and I just relied how angry I was with her. I logged on fbook to tell everyone that J-o-b stands for just over broke but the top of my page was a picture of Ansley’s foot with the word weed written on it in purple pen. A long while ago Ansley and I where close to being best friends. We slept over at eachother’s houses, talked at school, and even went to six flags together! You know what she said to me the next school year? I was walking to lunch from connections and saw Ansley. I said hey but she didn’t respond I figured she didn’t hear me and I was in a hurry so I just walked right by. Well one day I was bored at home and decided to text her.

Me: Hey

Ansley: Can’t you take a hint? I D ON’T LIKE YOU! (bunch of other stuff I can’t remember that I found really rude) btw…said as nicely as possible

Me: What? who is this? have you gone insane?!  is this Ansley’s brother?

Ansley: No it’s not him. I’m not insane. I just don’t like you

Kayla becomes confused as heck. (I don’t really remember what I said next but it was something that lead to this…)

Me:WELL FINE! go ahead and take me to 6 flags, have your mom spend her money on me, invite me to paries and have me thinking were friends and suddenly drop me! I don’t care!!!

Ansley: Well, it’s not that I didn’t like you it’s just that…We’ve grown apart, like, I’m more mature than you

*more mature?!*

Me: Oh, well I guess I can understand that

Ansley: well, ya

After thinking long and hard about it and doing some resurch I revised something. If you’re smart you can do the math. My school is split into 5 teams. special ed, regulars, little smarter, bit smarter, really smart, and probies (the smartest). If you’re on one team for all four classes and you don’t have connections with a certain person you talk a bit less than usual. (The school actually really pulls you from your friends. You stay on team the whole time, don’t see them during connections, and either cant talk to them or don’t even eat lunch with them.)  Ansley’s friends last year consisted of me, gloria, taylor, and Mckayla along with some other miscellaneous people.

 

Now I always thought highly of Ansley. She was a good friend and her family seemed to have a lot of money. She always dressed cool and stars on A T.V. show (i always wanted to be an actress). I was sometimes a bit jealous of her but after I had my theory of why she didn’t talk to me anymore I got really pissed.

Soon after deciding she disliked me, she added me on fbook and told me happy new years. She’s the one friend of mine who’s birthday I decited to remember and look what she does to me. I’m truely pissed.

 

 

Now that I’ve said all this to you, Ansley I feel a bit better. If you want to talk about the matter then please, keep it between text or on facebook. I don’t really want to talk to you in person right now.

Cursing

…why is cursing considered a bad thing? I really don’t get that… and, just how many bad words are there? I here peoeple in the halls like,  “OOOOH!!! YOU SAID THE P WORD!!!!!”. What’s the P word? Punctuation?

I’m in Middle School now and everyone suddenly thinks it’s “cool” to cuss… what’s with that?  If you never did it before then why start it now? I mean, there isn’t much to say on this topic so, give me some thoughts and i’ll alter this post till it’s nice and long with all your ideas (best idea gets to be top kiean!!!!)

NEW SEMESTER!

I go to school like all the other girls my age and I must say I’m PUMPED for this new semester! How are you feeling? I had a B last semester and I don’t really like B’s so I plan to pull up that grade to the MAXX!!! I also have a daily schedule for myself so that I don’t just sit on the computer and waste my life away. I really can’t wait for the middle of the year! SOON I’M GONNA BE HALF OVER WITH THIS STUPID GRADE I’M IN AND I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!

What is Christmas really supposed to be?

I decided for this post to tell you a fue things about my year and about how Christmas it going so far….Losts of post are probably spreaded all over the place about OMG IT’S ALMOST CHRISTMAS but I have some today to give Christmas more meaning (hopefully give you something to think about too).

THE SEASON OF GIVING

We all know how people call Christmas that but the name is over 80% irrelevant to Christmas. As you should know Christmas is on December 25th, Jesus’s birthday. Well for one thing I know lots of non Christan people who celebrate Christmas anyways! And the main point of this section in the blog post is… WHAT DOES JESUS’S BIRTHDAY EVEN HAVE TO DO WITH GIVING PEOPLE PRESENTS. I would prefer to get gifts and what not but If the holiday was celebrated correctly little kids would probably HATE Christmas. On Christmas families should fast, go to church, and give thanks (not gifts) to the lord and his son, so why is it that we all get decorations, buy a tree, sing carols, and as a matter of a fact CLOSE most churches?

HANIKA AND KWANZA

I don’t know the first thing about these two holidays for one golden reason. They are celebrated correctly. Yes they do give out gifts but for a reason not just because they needed stocking stuffers. The holidays both give thanks to family, friends, and their god(s). That is why everyone loves December because of Christmas. The Holiday was well… jacked up.

DON’T GET ME WRONG

I love Christmas and all but these are just some things I’ve been thinking about lately. My family does Christmas really different from others (this year as specially) and I was just wondering why so? We do a Christmas breakfast instead of dinner. We don’t really decorate that much,, and we usually do but this year there’s no tree, just a pile of presents.Why would we need a tree anyways is all I was thinking about when I decided to post this.

At my house I either get a birthday party in November, we do a Christmas party or a New years party… that’s all I have to say…

(My Period) I’m sick of questions but could use some more

I feel like I’m the only middle school girl in the 6th grade that ever lived to be in the bathroom 10 minutes longer than everyone else cause I’m trying to change my pad. Whenever my period starts my mom has a flood of questions to ask me! Did you get a pad, yes. Did you get blood on your sheets, no. Do you feel any cramping, no. Did you this and Will you that… I’m sick and tired of her questioning me. It’s just my mom that irritates me. I don’t know why everyone hates their period… the only bad part about mine other than the overload of questions is the lack of them too. How do you ask your friends if they’re on their periods yet? I just don’t see me walking up to someone and being like “Hey, are  you on your period because I am and it’s friggin pissing me off”. Not likley. I wish somebody would ask me if I was on MY period because when you ask your friends and they say no you’re just like… oh.
Anyways my period doesn’t cause me problems because of cramping or thin pads or even because it just sucks… it’s cause of questions. I really do dough going to 1st grade to learn about Language Arts…
